Owner and operator of Coast Mountain DJ’s Pete Cronin has a strong passion for music. Pete learned to play the drums at the early age of 5 and played in many bands while growing up in New Zealand. His first DJ gig was when he was 14 years old.
With an interest in traveling, Pete moved to London England. This was where he bought his first set of turntables and started to DJ at local venues. After living in London, he moved to Dublin Ireland and started a weekly club Night with guest DJs.
Pete moved to Vancouver Canada and started to play a diverse range of events. Boat parties, gallery openings, corporate events, private parties and weddings. Pete has played gigs in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, France, Lithuania, Thailand and Canada. Now residing in the Pemberton Valley, Pete’s musical tastes are being influenced by the magical surroundings.
His eclectic taste in music is vast. Early Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Disco, 80’s New wave, Hip Hop, Indie, Electronic, Folk and Top 40. His collection is always growing with new fresh sounds from many different genres.
Not only is Pete a great DJ, his easy-going nature and quick wit makes working with him FUN & ENTERTAINING.

DJ Salim is Coast Mountain DJ’s most popular and highly reviewed DJ on the team. His experience is in club environments, private parties, corporate events and weddings. Salim is a professional who is highly experienced, composed and focused with a full calendar of events in Vancouver and the Sea to Sky corridor.
His enthusiasm and passion for music keeps him up to date on all genres of music and is the reason he can play any occasion with amazing results. Having the ability to read the dance floor and knowing what to play at the right time, comes naturally from years of working as a DJ.

DJ Ira has been a leading force in the private events industry for over 20 years. His experience with event planning and execution is second to none, and his passion for entertainment is stronger than ever. He’s not just a great wedding DJ, he’s an entertainer and performing artist, and his knowledge of music speaks volumes.
His authentic and charismatic demeanor make for an exceptional guest/client experience and his ability to read a crowd and connect with an audience is truly magical. Ira’s talents are fueled by his passion. He’s the real deal.
Originally from Tasmania, Australia this passionate female DJ started her career in 2007. With her background as a drummer she developed her turntables skills quickly and started to play in music venues. When Jess aka Miss Instigator started “throwing beats down” she was the only female DJ in her region where it was a male dominating environment.
Jess became a resident DJ at Bar 39 and Lonnies and successfully organized her own events. Jess moved to Canada in 2008 and had the pleasure acting as the support DJ for Bass Kleph, Yolanda Be Cool, and Joseph Martin as well as assisting and organizing local Whistler events. She has supported many national and international DJs such as Kid Kenobi, MC Shureshock and Baby Gee, John course, and Mark Dynamix.
Jess is known for her house/techno, while still being able to play all genres with great ability to ‘read the crowd.’ She is able to manipulate the dance floor by playing a diverse style of music adding to the atmosphere at any event. Jess is totally in control of the dance floor.
